Terms of
Service.
Effective date: January 1, 2026 · Governing law: North Carolina
1. Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website at www.mgracec.shop and the social services provided by M GRACE COUNSELING, LLC ("we," "us," "the Company"), located at 908 Turgotine Ln, Wilmington, NC 28412, United States. By using this website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms. Specific programs may be governed by additional signed agreements, which control where they conflict with these Terms.
2. Nature of Services
We provide individual and family social services, including: adoption and foster placement services; child guidance and welfare services; youth centers, outreach, and self-help groups; adult day care, senior centers, companion and homemaker services for elderly and disabled persons; alcohol and drug counseling and self-help organizations; crisis intervention, hotlines, rape crisis and suicide crisis services; family social services, marriage counseling, and mediation; ex-offender rehabilitation and self-help; privately operated parole and probation support services; referral services; and multi-service community programs.
The exact scope, schedule, and obligations for any program you participate in will be described in program-specific materials or agreements.
3. Not Medical Care
Important limitation. Our counseling services are social-service counseling — they are not psychotherapy, psychiatry, psychoanalysis, or medical treatment, and are not delivered by licensed mental-health practitioners operating in a clinical capacity. Our elder and disability services are non-medical. Nothing on this website or in our services constitutes medical or legal advice.
If your needs require clinical assessment, psychiatric care, medication management, or medical treatment, we will say so and assist with referral to an appropriate licensed provider. Do not delay seeking professional medical care based on anything provided by us.
4. Crisis Emergencies
This website, our email, and our web form are not emergency services and are not monitored around the clock. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 911. For suicidal crisis or emotional distress, call or text the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline at 988. Our hotline services are subject to the operating hours communicated to participants.
5. Client Responsibilities
In engaging our services, you agree to:
- Provide information that is accurate to the best of your knowledge;
- Attend scheduled sessions and programs, or give reasonable notice of absence;
- Treat staff, other clients, and group members with respect — harassment, threats, or violence are grounds for termination of services;
- Comply with program-specific rules communicated at enrollment;
- Notify us promptly of changes in contact information or circumstances affecting services.
6. Group Rules
Participation in any of our circles or support groups carries the following obligations:
- Confidentiality — what is shared in the group stays in the group. You may not disclose the identity of members or the content of discussions outside the group;
- Respect — every member speaks without interruption or judgment; the facilitator may redirect conversation to maintain a safe space;
- Sobriety — recovery circles require attendance free of active intoxication;
- Safety — threats, harassment, or disclosure risks that endanger others may result in removal from the group and, where required by law, reporting.
7. Confidentiality & Reporting
Information you share is held in confidence as described in our Privacy Policy. Exceptions include imminent risk of serious harm, suspected abuse or neglect of a child or vulnerable adult (mandated reporting under North Carolina law), valid court orders, and disclosures you authorize in writing.
8. Fees & Payment
Fees for services — where applicable — are stated at intake or in program agreements. Many community and self-help services are provided at no charge or on sliding scales; adoption, foster care, day care, and probation/parole support services may carry fees as described in the applicable agreement. Payment terms, insurance or benefits coordination, and cancellation policies are set out in those agreements.
9. Referrals
Referral services connect you to third-party providers. We do not control, endorse, or guarantee the services of independent providers, and are not responsible for their acts or omissions. A referral does not create an agency relationship between us and the referred provider.
10. Website Use
By using this website you agree not to:
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or disrupt the site;
- Use the site to harass, impersonate, or harm others;
- Scrape, copy, or republish site content for commercial purposes without permission;
- Submit false, fraudulent, or deliberately misleading information through our forms;
- Use the contact form to send spam or unsolicited commercial messages.
11. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — text, graphics, illustrations, and design — is the property of M Grace Counseling, LLC or its licensors and protected by applicable law. You may view and share links to our pages; other reproduction requires written permission.
12. Disclaimers
This website is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties, express or implied, about the site's availability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. Program availability may change; eligibility for particular services depends on program criteria and capacity.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, M Grace Counseling, LLC and its members, employees, and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of this website or our services. Our aggregate liability for any claim related to a service is limited to the fees paid for that service in the twelve months preceding the claim.
14. General
